Sing. Dance. Act. Perform. @ CenterStage!

Children of all ages will be exposed to a variety of performing art forms at CenterStage.  Our mission is to give them a deep appreciation for music and theater in a fun, supportive and rewarding environment.  These after-school classes will meet weekly this fall culminating in an end of the semester performance for the children's biggest fans!

CenterStage Debut (ages 2 to 4 1/2) will focus on imaginative play and discovery through storytelling and song, while CenterStage Encore (ages 4 1/2- 6 1/2) will allow the children to explore using improvisation, costumes and props, theater games and role playing.  Older children in CenterStage Spotlight (ages 7-10) will delve into the exciting world of musical theater.  Each of the classes is unique in that performers will have a chance to shine in their own solo moment, as well as perform within an ensemble.  By the end of the semester each child will boast a new sense of confidence and enthusiasm.

Samantha Jeffreys and Ashley Philips are distinguished and experienced professional performers in the music and dance fields respectively, as well as early childhood educators.  They have combined their passion for teaching and the performing arts to create CenterStage.  "I cannot wait to share my love for the arts with a younger generation!" explains Ms. Jeffreys, a professional opera singer and teaching artist in the NYC Public Schools.  "CenterStage not only allows our students to have fun onstage and off, but it also provides them with an opportunity to develop their individual talents and learn the importance of working with others."

CenterStage also offers in-home private musical theater workshops, and private voice lessons/ audition coachings and preparation for kids ages 6 and up.  For general inquiries about the program, please call (347) 815-9606, email info@centerstagestars.com, or visit www.CenterStageStars.com.
