Step into the spotlight this summer with CenterStage Summer Stars 2026! Our one week musical theater workshops are filled with vibrant, exciting themes and lots of theatrical fun. Students will explore a new musical each week, diving into all aspects of a theatrical production, culminating in an exciting performance for family and friends. From building sets and assembling costumes to learning songs and scenes, attendees will be fully immersed in the world of each week’s show. This unique program introduces children to the magical world of musical theater through songs, choreography, acting games, and creative storytelling.

The program features a very talented and trained staff of NYC teaching artists, including actors, writers, and producers, in addition to early childhood educators. Each day blends performance training with crafts, themed activities, outdoor play, improvisation, and collaborative projects that boost confidence, creativity, and self-expression in a nurturing a safe environment.

At CenterStage, children explore the fundamentals of stage presence, rhythm, and movement while building friendships and learning how to work as an ensemble—just like real performers do. Along the way, they’ll create, imagine, and discover new ways to express themselves both on and off the stage. Everyone's favorite highlight throughout the week is CenterStage Spirit Day, where children take the spotlight for talent shows, book presentations, dance parties and dynamic musical themed games, celebrating their unique creativity and using the tools they learned throughout the workshop. Every week, the intensive ends with a performance for our stars' biggest fans. At CenterStage Stars, we believe children learn best when they’re enjoying themselves, therefore, our goal is to help every one of them grow creatively while having a great time every step of the way.

Week 5: July 13-17 - HAMILTON
Week 6: July 20-24 - MAMMA MIA
Week 7: July 27-July 31 - MOANA
Week 8: August 3-7 - THE GREATEST SHOWMAN

Full day (9am-3pm) ages 4-7 years
Full day (9am-3pm) ages 7-11 years
Half day (9am-12pm) ages 3-5 years ***must be toilet-trained***

***Please note: We offer Early Drop-Off at 8:30am for an additional $10 per day and Late Pick-Up until 4pm for $20 per day. These additions can be paid for while registering on Sawyer or in cash.

- CANCELLATION POLICY: A full refund less a $50 cancellation fee may be issued if requested before May 1st, 2026. After May 1st, 2026, no refunds will be given.

- You may switch weeks within the same 2026 summer program up until June 1st, 2026, assuming there is availability. After that, scheduling changes are made at the discretion of CenterStage staff.
